Yoga for Golf Instructor - Yoga Teacher for Golfers

Victoria founded Yoga for Golf (YFG) to merge her passion for yoga with her love for the game of golf.

The inception of Yoga for Golf stemmed from Victoria’s family's deep-rooted love for the game. Playing with her parents in their mid-60s and grandparents in their 80s inspired Victoria to create a yoga program to help golfers maintain their mobility as they age.

The YFG program emphasizes improving performance, fostering longevity in the sport, and alleviating the typical stresses and strains associated with golfing.

FAQs

  • Not at all! Yoga helps you become more flexible over time. Every class is designed with modifications, so you can start from exactly where you are.

  • Nope. Our classes are designed for golfers, not yogis. We explain everything clearly and focus on simple, effective movements that improve how you feel and play.

  • Absolutely not. Many of our classes focus on yoga for aging bodies.

Classes are low-impact, joint-friendly, and can help reduce stiffness, improve balance, and increase energy.

If getting down on the floor is an issue there are chair yoga and standing only classes.

  • Yoga is much more than stretching. It combines mobility work, core strength, balance training, and breathing techniques—helping you play longer, recover faster, and focus better.

  • While I recommend working up to 3x / week - even 1–2 sessions a week can make a big difference in flexibility, posture, and focus. Consistency is more important than intensity.

  • Just a yoga mat and some comfortable clothes. We occasionally recommend a yoga blocks or strap, but we offer household alternatives when needed.

  • Classes range from 10 to 25 minutes—perfect for busy schedules or a quick tune-up before a round.

  • It’s for golfers. Period. We welcome everyone—whether you're a weekend warrior, competitive player, or just want to feel better on and off the course.
